Combined plastic and twin-layer textile lining panel for automotive interior panel has finely woven inner textile layer

In a process to manufacture automotive interior cladding components, a twin layer of textile is positioned in a plastics spray mold and the plastic sprayed on to the inner textile layer. The textile has a mold removal loop that forms part of the decor layer. The textile consists of a first inner barrier layer woven in smooth yarn and in contact with the plastic. The decor layer is a texturized or non-texturized polyester yarn having a relatively smooth inner face, with a reduced-friction surface and reduced flow resistance for the spray applied plastic. In a further embodiment the decor layer is a texturized yarn with a relatively strongly variable shape and mesh formation. It is preferably matt and seamless.
