In the adsorption filter material (300 to 500 g/m2), an adsorption layer (5) is arranged between outer carrier layers (3, 4) exposed to a catalytically active component of a multi-layered structure (2). The filter material (1) has biological and chemical protective function for against biological, chemical poisons and pollutants such as warfare agents. The adsorption layer is clamped to the first outer carrier layer and/or to the second outer carrier layer by gluing and/or the adsorption layer is adhesively bound to the carrier layers. In the adsorption filter material (300 to 500 g/m2), an adsorption layer (5) is arranged between outer carrier layers (3, 4) exposed to a catalytically active component of a multi-layered structure (2). The filter material (1) has biological and chemical protective function for against biological, chemical poisons and pollutants such as warfare agents. The adsorption layer is clamped to the first outer carrier layer and/or to the second outer carrier layer by gluing and/or the adsorption layer is adhesively bound to the carrier layers. The adsorption layer exhibits or is composed of activated charcoal particles and/or activated charcoal fibers such as grain or ball coal. The activated charcoal fibers are present in the activated charcoal planar structures form in the adsorption layer. The r carrier layers are laminar, two-dimensional and/or textile planar structures such as fabric, crochet, knitted fabric, clutch, textile composite, fleece or non-woven. The textile planar structure exhibits weight per unit area of 25-50 g/m2 in the first carrier layer. The textile planar structure exhibits weight per unit area of 60 to 120 g/m2 in the second carrier layer. The carrier layers are composed of a textile planar structure from chemical fibers of polyamides, polyesters, polyolefins, polyurethane, polyvinyl and/or polyacryl. The component is incorporated into the textile planar fibers, threads, yarns or filaments by spinning, extrusion, impregnation, chemical or plasma-chemical treatment. The adsorption filter material is air-permeable and/or water permeable and/or water vapor permeable. The material shows the permeability of 600-10,000 L m-2 s-1 at flow resistance (127 Pa). The material exhibits a steam transmittance rate (25 L/m2 per 24 h) and total cross section thickness (0.5-1.0 mm). The material exhibits a barrier effect (2.5 mu g/cm2 per 24 h) against chemical agent e.g. [2-chlorethyl] sulfide (mustard gas, lost, yellow cross liquid). The barrier effect is determined according to methods 2.2 of the CRDEC-SP-84010.
