The system has a set of communication network nodes (KNK1 - KNK3), and a communication network server staying in connection with the nodes. A set of terminal adapter units (TAU) connects communication terminals to a communication network (KN), where each node has a switching and conferencing unit. An analog-to-digital converter digitizes broadband analog signals in a range from 0 to 22 kilohertz or in a dynamic range of up to 80 decibels.
