Open-ended wrench has a fixed jaw (1) with a base body, which has a recess (13) and has an opening (14) connected to it and to the bore (15). A movable jaw (2) is provided, which is adjustable opposite to the fixed jaw, forms a muzzle (21) with the base body and the fixed jaw and has several teeth (22) at its lower surface. An axle shaft (3) is provided with first and second end (31,32), a central section (33) and a neck section (34) between the central section and the second end. The central section lies in the recess of the fixed jaw and the neck section of the axle shaft is accommodated in the opening of the fixed jaw. The neck section is aligned to the bore. A spring (37) is placed between the central section and the second end around the axle shaft. A handle (4) is provided, whose front end is flexibly connected with the fixed jaw and has a tapped blind hole (43) at the side for a spring element (44), which presses against the lower surface of the base body of the fixed jaw. A pin (5) is accommodated within the bore of the base body, which is connected at the end with the handle and can protrude with the other end into the neck section of the axle shaft.
