The device has a housing (5), within which several solar sails, a rotor (1), a drive shaft (6), a magnetic bearing (4) and a generator (3) are provided. Solar sails are attached at the rotor in such a manner that during the occurrence of the solar radiation, the solar sails repel themselves from the sunbeams and thus drive the rotor. An independent claim is also included for the energy.
