An L-shaped seat cushion (3) has adjacent seat cushion sections (31,32). A backrest cushion (42) has two adjacent backrest cushion sections (42a,42b) supported on a backrest frame (41). A seatbelt system is stored within a section of the backrest frame, and is exposed for usage by moving one of the backrest cushion section (42a) sideways. One of the seat cushion sections (32) is foldable, while the other seat cushion section (31) is laterally movable. An independent claim is also included for a road vehicle.
