First and second shells (10, 12) accommodating lower leg and foot respectively, are connected by an orthotic joint (14). This is configured such that the shells can be moved between a pointed-foot position and a correction position. In the correction position, the lower leg and foot stand in a normal position, in relation to each other. The second shell (12) holds the foot in accordance with the three-point principle, in a predetermined, three-dimensional position.
