The device has a handle (6) and a base plate (9) that is made of an elastic material e.g. silicone elastomer, and temperature-steady material. A passage opening e.g. slot (12), is provided in the base plate and is dimensioned in such a manner that the handle of a flatware-part is pushed and the base plate is held on the handle in friction-locked manner after pushing of the handle, where the base plate thickness is lower than its diameter. The base plate is formed by an injection part and has an elliptical shape.
