The measuring instrument has poles of the energy source connected to an emitter or a collector of a first transistor (T1) and second (T2) transistor. The base (B12) of the two transistors are connected and a signal current (I) of a resistor (R2) is dependent on the voltage of emitter of the first transistor, allowing more signal to flow. An independent claim is included for an energy supply arrangement.
