A hot water consumer circulation meter has separate counter rotating paddle (A, B) and chambers with paddles (3) driving a differential comparison drive (2) in a drive (C) chamber through magnets (1) so that it records the different rotation speeds and transmits the difference through transmission magnets to a combined counter mechanism (4). Independent claims are included for a version using ultrasonic measurement of the flow through the chambers.
