The system has a gutter (2) whose front edge forms a bead (5) running in a spiral from the channel section (3) about a longitudinal axis forwards, down, back to the channel section and finally upwards. It has a device (6) for opening the bead with a tool section (7) that at least partly engages around the bead, grips under it and extends between the upward leading section and the channel section. An independent claim is also included for a device for opening a roof gutter bead.
