The collector has a closed housing (1) provided with a translucent cover (2) and a tubular collector system (4). Solar radiation is emitted towards the tubular collector system for heating a liquid heat distribution medium. The heated liquid heat distribution medium is used to heat a surface absorber system (5) which is used for heating a gaseous heat distribution medium. Photovoltaic modules (8) are arranged at the end regions of the translucent cover.
