The dough processing machine for the shaping and treatment of dough strands and crescents, comprises a supply conveyer belt (3) for the introduction of dough pieces (4) into the treatment process, a winding machine (9) at the output of the supply conveyor for coiling the dough pieces, a first conveyor (14) with a relaxation range (15) and a second conveyor (20). The supply conveyer belt, winding machine and the conveyor are arranged in a machine rack. The supply conveyor and the winding machine are arranged above both the conveyors. The dough processing machine for the shaping and treatment of dough strands and crescents, comprises a supply conveyer belt (3) for the introduction of dough pieces (4) into the treatment process, a winding machine (9) at the output of the supply conveyor for coiling the dough pieces, a first conveyor (14) with a relaxation range (15) and a second conveyor (20). The supply conveyer belt, winding machine and the conveyor are arranged in a machine rack. The supply conveyor and the winding machine are arranged above both the conveyors. The second conveyor transfers dough pieces both with its upper- and lower band area. A third conveyor is arranged between the first and second conveyor, exhibits a relaxation zone at its upper side, and transfers the dough pieces to the second conveyor. The transfer of the dough pieces through the supply conveyor and the winding machine takes place in different transportation direction on the conveyors. A relaxation zone for dough pieces conveyed on the third conveyor, is arranged between the first and the third conveyor. End-sided returning members are arranged for the conveyance of the dough pieces from the upper to the lower surface of the conveyors. The first and second conveyors exhibit same length and the third conveyor exhibits a smaller length. The common length of extension of the supply conveyor and winding machine corresponds to the respective extension length of the first and/or second conveyor band. The supply- and the conveyor run horizontally one above the other. The conveyance length on the third conveyor is shorter than or same as the conveyance length on the first conveyor. The conveyance lengths on the upper section of the third conveyor and on the second conveyor are identical, and are shorter than the conveyance length on the lower section of the second conveyor. A working plate is motor adjustable under the second conveyor. The winding machine exhibits two winding bands counter-rotating at different speeds. The winding bands form a winding gap between them. The supply conveyor, the winding machine and the conveyors form machine units. The machine units are separately removable from the machine rack. The upper-lying first machine unit, formed from the winding machine and supply conveyor are mountable on underlying machine units of conveyors. The lower-most machine unit comprising the second conveyor, serves as a support for the machine units arranged above it. The lowest machine unit is arranged on a rollable machine rack. The machine unit arranged between the first and the second conveyor, covers the third conveyor and the working plate. The third conveyor is switchable between a halt position and/or counter-operation state and thus assumes the function of a working plate. The third conveyor is motor adjustable in its distance (D) to the first conveyor. By the adjustment, the angle between the level of extension of the lower sections of the first conveyor and the third conveyor is changeable. The third conveyor transports dough pieces with its upper band range in the first transportation direction and with its lower band range in an opposite direction, and the working plate is arranged between the third and the second conveyor.
