The motor (M) has a mechanical commutation system that consists of a self rotating commutator and two brushes, where the commutator is connected with a motor shaft. The motor is connected with a diode (D) and a power switch (T). An integrated operating electronics comprises a wear indicator for evaluating a wear level of the system based on operating hours. The electronics outputs a warning using a light emitting diode, if the wear level in the system exceeds a predefined threshold value.
