Shaft seal has radial internal sealing element (6) arranged at arbor (2) and the sealing arrangement has a ring (7,9,11). The projection (17,18,19) with an assembling of the shaft seal is in contact with ring of other seal element. The projection strips after beginning of a rotation movement of arbor or role body (1), until a narrow annular gap is formed between project and the ring of other seal element. An independent claim is also included for the pulley.
