The spring unit (1) has a carrier plate (2) made of plastic. A body made of piezoelectric material is applied on the plate. The plate comprises a carbon fiber reinforced plastic (CFK). The plastic consists of thermosetting plastic and additives in small amount. The plate is covered by an insulating upper surface layer (5). The layer is thicker such that electrical potential is not developed at the CFK. A metal layer (8) is applied on the upper surface layer.
