The component (3) has a fastening section with a set of stoppers, and a bearing surface. The former stopper is formed by a number of curved ribs for guiding a stamp stripe on a transportation surface at an upper side of the component. The fastening section turns towards an interior of a franking machine (1) during mounting of the component. The latter hook-shaped stopper and a fixing unit operate a stripe transducer (2) on a side turning away from the interior of the franking machine. The third movable springy stopper is provided at the upper side of the component.
