The underfloor waste and recycling bin fits into a concrete container. It is supported by a safety platform with three radial arms (4) which have fingers (5) which fit into vertical guide profiles (3) mounted in the container wall. The platform is raised by a counterweight system (6) and closes the container when the bin is removed for emptying.
