The heat exchanger has an isolated retaining body (1) comprising an air inlet channel (2) and an air outlet channel (3), which are fitted together, where heat exchange takes place between the air inlet- and outlet channels. Exhaust fans (21, 31) are provided at an air inlet opening of the channels (2, 3). The exhaust fan (21) sucks fresh outside air into an interior of the body, and the exhaust fan (31) discharges the air in the interior into outside air, such that heat exchange is accomplished between the channels. The fans (21, 31) are provided with filters (22, 32).
