The present invention relates to a method of controlling a terminal fitted with a connector of a card with micromodules in contact, in which, during the introduction of the card in the connector, it is verified that the resistance of at least one contact of the card is much lower than a first predetermined value; and in which, during a call between the card and the terminal, it is verified that the resistance of at least one contact is much lower than a second predetermined value.
