The generation of the return force for pedal of accelerator

The system has an electronic control unit (10) that receives information on vehicle and its environment e.g. accelerator pedal position, from sensors. The control unit controls a hydraulic vacuum jack (50) based on a force to be exerted on an accelerator pedal of a regulation unit e.g. throttle valve. A pneumatic vacuum jack includes a piston that is integrated to a stub axle that creates a restoring force on the pedal.
