The present invention relates to a method of acquisition of at least a geometrical characteristic of the two sets of homologous points (pm1, pd1) of two lenses (10,20), a measured and the other is deduced, belonging to a same pair of spectacles, a set of measured points belonging to the lens to be measured and a second set of three points belonging to the lens is deduced, comprising the steps of: a) feel the lens, measured in order to acquire the said at least a geometrical characteristic points of the set of measured points a, b) to deduce the said at least a geometrical characteristic to the points of the set of points deduced from at least of said at least a geometrical characteristic felt on the lens to be measured and an optical power or per unit area of at least the lens deduced.
