The present invention relates to a method for determining a model of an interface between a user and its environment on board a vehicle, characterized in that it comprises the following steps: - preparation (e1) of a model of the interface from, on the one hand, to a first type of information representative of the elements of the interface of the vehicle and, on the other hand, a second type of information representative of the knowledge held by a user on the use of the elements of the interface, - acquisition (e2) of data representative of at least a human activity which is stressed during the interaction between the user, and these elements of the interface, the acquisition of these data being carried out by means of at least one apparatus for acquiring data, - analysis (e3) of the data thus acquired, - adjustment (e4) of the model of the interface as a function of the analysis of data.
