Seat`s longitudinal position adjusting system for motor vehicle, has front rod integrated to base structure and having end parts with cooperating unit cooperating with adjusting rails having complimentary rails movable between two positions
The system has a base with adjusting rails (5) extending opposite to respective front transversal grooves (4). A front rod integrated to a base structure (3) extending perpendicularly to the grooves. The rod has end parts with cooperating units cooperating with the rails. The rails have complimentary rails (10) movable between locking and adjusting positions in which the rails (10, 5) cooperate or separate from each other to lock the rod and to permit translation of the rod, respectively. A reversible activating unit (12) activates the rails (10), in rotation, between two positions.
