The method involves lining open longitudinal grooves of a transversal plate (10) of a multiple support rack (3) with elongated cables and pipes (2). The lined plate is presented and hooked below a support panel that forms the floor pan of the cab interior of a motor vehicle. A protection shield (18) is mounted below the rack. The rack is immobilized under the panel by the engagement of a spherical element (9) of a carrying shaft (4) in an impression for receiving a coupler (19) which maintains the shield. The lined plate is presented and hooked such that the carrying shaft traverses the passage opening of the transversal plate until a spherical element (8) of the shaft engages in a reception housing (13) where it is immobilized by pinching effect and the spherical element (9) traverses freely the opening while extending under the multiple rack.
