The source (16) has zones (16a, 16b) for respectively emitting excitation light radiations having different wavelengths, where internal diameter of the source is greater than or equal to 100 millimeter and external diameter is less than or equal to 300 millimeter. Each zone comprises a set of elementary light sources such as light emitting diode, independently controlled by a light-selective control unit (20). The control unit has an activation unit permitting a user to select an excitation wavelength of the light radiations.
