The device has two sets of rollers (17, 18) defining a center of pressure (31) staggered with respect to a central axis. A cam (5) has a set of tabs (10, 11, 12) adapted to contact with a ring (4) along a set of blocking surfaces (32, 33). The surfaces define a blocking center (34), where the center of pressure is at a side opposite to the blocking center so that the rollers push the tabs against the ring in the absence of action on a control unit when the rollers are displaced towards respective ends of conveyor tracks (6, 7).
