The vehicle has a boot lid (4) behind a shelf (10), and an opening extending between the shelf and the lid. A retractable roof is between a deployed position across the opening and a folded position below the lid. Lateral flaps (18) partially close the opening when the roof occupies the folded position. A connecting unit (24) connects the flap and the lid. The unit has a synchronization unit (42) to pivot the flap with respect to the lid in two opposite directions, when the lid is displaced toward its lower closing position and upper release position of the boot, respectively.
