The module has a safety system integrated with a structure element (2) and comprising roll bars (22a, 22b). The roll bars are displaceable between retracted and deployed positions with respect to the structure element using roll bars actuating device, and are disengaged during turning of the module. A retractable roof (3) is articulated on the structure element and displaceable between deployed and retracted positions. The safety system has lateral supports (4a, 4b) possessing surfaces (6, 7) for supporting on body shell of a vehicle.
