The cross-member has fixing units (8) to fix a plastic vent duct inside a segment of a tubular beam, where each unit (8) has a fastening strap (34) mounted to the beam. The straps assemble a bundle of cables to the beam. Each fixing unit has a male click-lock point (32) which cooperates with a hole in the beam so as to be fixed in the hole. Each male point projects out from the beam. The tube forms upper and lower walls (12, 14) and lateral walls (16, 18). The duct has upper and lower walls (20, 22) and lateral walls (24, 26).
