The method involves informing an identifier of an addressee read on a mail box to an electronic communicating module, where the identifier is a visible code e.g. C for mail, R for registered and P for parcel. The reading of the identifier is done physically by the distributor by acquiring knowledge of the code and informing the identifier to the electronic module by inputting the code on the electronic module, where the code characterizes the nature of an object or a mail.
