The headlamp has a projection lens (28) arranged on an optical axis extending in the longitudinal direction of a vehicle. A light source is arranged at a rear of a rear side focus of the projection lens, where the light source includes a linear light source extends in an axial direction of a light source bulb inserted and fixed to a main reflector from a side of the optical axis.
