The reflector (1) comprises two or three reflecting areas (2,3,4), which have a substantially rhombic shape. The reflecting areas are formed as a main reflector, a side marking reflector and a transition area. The corner portions (5) of the reflector are rounded. Triple prisms are arranged in the reflecting area as reflectors. The reflector is designed as a plastic injection molded piece. A transition (B,C) is formed between two adjacent reflecting areas in a floating manner.
