The edible book consists of a number of pages made from an edible food product, printed with a text or illustration on at least one side (30) with another food product and having holes (5) pierced in one edge for binding rings (6) or ribbon. The pages can be made, for example, from chocolate, tea, coffee, cocoa powder, nougatine, praline or ganache, and the print can be of an edible ink made from chocolate, cocoa butter or gold leaf. The binding rings can be of metal, a textile ribbon, or liquorice laces.
