The combined air duct and shock absorber module comprises a duct (4) whose inlet (5) is positioned between a car bonnet (2) and windscreen (3). It is supported at the inlet end by a shock absorbing cross-bar (9) and has a water-collecting trough (8) at the opposite end. This has a drain hole which also prevents noise transmission into the car interior. An independent claim is included for a mounting system for the module.
