The agricultural spray bar has a swiveling section which is operated by a double-action hydraulic cylinder. This has an active piston (23) which divides the cylinder into two chambers (8a, 8b), a passive piston (32) being mounted at the base of one chamber (8b). Both chambers are fitted with shock absorbers (26, 34).
