The container has a hollow rigid body (2) delimiting an inner volume (4) in which glass objects are piled up during filling of the container. The body has upper openings (3) across which the objects are introduced and dropped within the volume. The volume has a vertical support column (7) from which a set of dampening rollers are extended in a radiated manner. Each roller has a support structure (9) provided with a set of semi-rigid fibers (10) extending on the falling path of the objects for dampening the fall of the objects, where the fibers are made of polypropylene.
