The device has a U-shaped hollow body (1), and a square or rectangular shaped profile fixed to a base of the hollow body. A part (3) is fixed to the profile and carries two racks installed on each side of the profile. A lower block (5) and an upper block (6) carries and maintains a surface to be painted, respectively. Two supports (7a, 7b) are terminated by transversal faces that are equipped with two sets of wheels and are inclined towards front for the lower block and vertical for the upper block. The profiles are fitted in a sleeve fixed to a base (9).
