The clamping segment (2) has a profiled lower surface (3), which is placed on an upper surface of pipes, where an upper side (4) is provided opposite to a pipe surface. The clamping segment has a connecting element (7) at its upper side. The connecting element is connected with a clamping segment connector for forming a segment clamp. An independent claim is also included for a segment clamp of pipelines, which has openings.
