The protective clothing comprises a hood (1) inside which is a protective helmet (3) with releasable fixture devices (6,7,8,9) between the hood and the helmet. The hood follows the rotary movement of the helmet. The releasable fixture devices are arranged on the inside of the hood and the outside of the helmet, on both sides of the helmet and in the area of the ears of the helmet wearer. They are formed as snap connections.
