Take-off parameter inputting error detecting method for aircraft, involves comparing limit value with take-off characteristics value, and alerting pilot via interface of flight management system when result of comparison is erroneous

The method involves calculating a limit value from take-off parameters inputted in a flight management system, where the take-off parameters are selected among weight, thrust and configuration of an aircraft. The calculated limit value is compared with take-off characteristics value. A pilot of the aircraft is alerted via a multipurpose control and display unit (MCDU) interface of the management system when a result of the comparison is erroneous. An independent claim is also included for an aircraft comprising a detection device for implementing a take-off parameter input`s detecting method.
