The tool has an elongated body (3) traversed longitudinally by an ignite gas pipe (7) and supported by a grip handle (5), where the pipe emerges into a burner part (9). The burner part extending the body has a gas-powered unit (11) at its end and a junction part (13) opposite to the unit. A junction part (15) of the body and the junction part (13) are adapted to be reversibly fixed one in the other, where the body and the handle are made of plastic material. Independent claims are also included for the following: (1) a burner part for a gas-powered hand tool (2) an extension comprising tubular sections (3) an elongated body supported by a grip handle.
