- Method for determining the acid gas storage capacities of an underground geological medium, using a multiphase reactive transport model.- The geological medium is cut into a set of sub-volumes for which links are defined. A multiphase reactive transport model is then defined, by performing, according to a transfer rate principle, a division of the phenomena involved in the behavior of said two-part geological medium. A first part is treated by a first sub-model of the "multiphase compositional reservoir" type for determining the transfer rates related to the gas phase. A second part is treated with a model of "monophasic reactive transport" type to determine the transfer rates related to water and solid. The model is initialized using data acquired in the field or in the laboratory. The acidic gas storage capacities of the medium are determined from the reactive transport model. Application to the storage of acid gases in a natural reservoir.
