The assembly has a tool e.g. turnscrewer, comprising an electric motor connected to a power supply and control microcontroller embarked with the motor. A screw controller comprises a control unit communicating with the microcontroller, and a hardwired link of type power over Ethernet is divided into two connections (21, 22) and connects the tool to the controller. The link transfers electric current from the controller to the microcontroller and transfers data between the controller and microcontroller.
