The device has a laser beam transmitter fixed and arranged at a base and at front side of a motorized block of a cut-off saw. Another laser beam transmitter is arranged at the top of the motorized block, and a third laser beam is arranged at the rear of the cut-off saw. The latter and third transmitters emit light beams whose projections have a projection plane intersecting the projection of a light beam of the former transmitter. The latter and third transmitters are multidirectional and adjustable, and have a calibrated optical filter for defining a desired cutting length of a wood.
