The structure has a rear upper cross-piece (11) mounted between two rear struts (10A, 10B) at a level of upper region of the struts to be placed in a service position, in which the cross-piece extends transversally,ensures stiffening function of a motor vehicle and supports a load (13) placed in the vehicle, and a retracted inactive position. The cross-piece has signal lighting source (15) e.g. stop light, arranged on the strut (10A) and two bars, where one bar is mounted on the respective strut.
