The module has a frame (10) connected to a front shaft (3) and a bar extension (4) of a motor vehicle and including horizontal hollow bodies (11) connected by two vertical hollow bodies (12). The horizontal and vertical hollow bodies have U- shaped transversal section and are formed by a pressed or folded metallic sheet. The frame has absorbers for absorbing a pedestrian impact or low speed frontal impact and formed by foam blocks fixed on a plate.
