The device has two ribs (16, 18) placed opposite to each other according to a spacing direction for forming a housing. A wing (24) and a wall limit the spacing of the ribs according to the spacing direction, and a screw (19) is screwed in the housing. A support (12) is clamped between a head (40) of the screw and a bumper skin (4), and stresses the bumper skin against a trim cover (2) based on the spacing direction. The ribs are respectively formed on the cover and the support, and are placed in extension of the wing in the same plane as that of the wing.
