The plant has atmospheric sensors (11) placed under a solar collector (10), which is connected to a heat pump (20). A circulator (27) sets the solar collector in direct relation with a medium to be heated (30) e.g. water tank, and the heat pump stops the circulation of liquid when solar radiation is sufficient. The heat pump permits the circulation of liquid when the solar radiation is insufficient.
