The power-assist brake system equipped with an adhesive joint (14) to fix in an engine compartment against a firewall and to screw down next to passenger compartment of a vehicle having an adhesive joint, comprises a protective film having a tab (15, 16) correspondent to each adhesive surfaces of the joint. The protective film is useful to stick on the firewall. The film having precuts (17), which leaves the passages of pins at an external edge of the joint. The joint comprises two adhesive surfaces. The power-assist brake system equipped with an adhesive joint (14) to fix in an engine compartment against a firewall and to screw down next to passenger compartment of a vehicle having an adhesive joint, comprises a protective film having tab (15, 16) correspondent to each adhesive surfaces of the joint. The joint comprises two adhesive surfaces in which one surface is against the power-assist brake system and the other is against the firewall. The two adhesive surfaces support only a fixing of power-assist brake system against the firewall in which the surfaces develops an adhesive force. The adhesive force is useful to resist a lapse of time necessary in final fixation with passenger compartment by mechanical way of the power-assist brake system against the firewall. Each protective film is made up of different material and color in which a thickness of the material is flexible and elastic. The material comprises an absorption material of thermic, phonic and mechanical constraints. An independent claim is included for a method to enable a single operator on a vehicle assembly line to fix a power-assist brake system against a firewall.
